Zoopla acquires succession of strategic new homes partners over the past month

New customer sign-ups comprise key regional players across England, Scotland and Wales

Zoopla, the UK’s most comprehensive property website, has welcomed a succession of new homes developers and house builders to its customer base in the last month, providing ultimate choice to consumers. The new customers, who are major players in their region, will join Zoopla’s established new homes operation, and will sit alongside leading UK developers, including 23 of the top 25 house builders as ranked by the Home Builders Federation.

The multiple wins follow a revised new homes strategy, which seeks to optimise and diversify choice for home buyers, and includes last month’s launch of Zoopla’s innovative new homes search experience, which recorded a 43% uplift in conversion rates for housebuilders and developers in its beta testing phase.

Notable customer wins for Zoopla include Weston Homes in London and the South East; Duchy Homes in the North of England; Edenstone Homes in South Wales and the South West of England; MacTaggart & Mickel in Scotland; Robertson Homes in Scotland and the North East of England; and William Davis Homes in the Midlands.

Collectively, the new homes developers will add 2,500 new homes to Zoopla each year, across 60 geographical locations in the UK.

Alex Rose, Director of Zoopla New Homes, comments: “Housebuilders are a business priority for Zoopla, and we have developed a specialist operation to support them effectively, delivering maximum ROI. Our strategy has resulted in the acquisition of a slew of revered new homes developers, each of whom is a strong regional operator and helps to strengthen our footprint across the UK.

“Marketing a new home with Zoopla is about more than just a portal listing; we are an established property data business that offers our customers innovative marketing and analytical tools that segment and reach homebuyers directly in market today, via their inboxes, mobile devices and through social media. We’re helping to ensure that consumers are targeted strategically and that their journey is personalised.

“Our renewed focus on the new homes industry will continue throughout 2020 as we strive to become the number one property destination for housebuilders as well as agents.”

Zoopla’s recently launched digital advertising tools, AdReach and AdReach Express, are also attracting new customer wins. The digital marketing tools, which implement or optimise digital marketing strategies, are available to every Zoopla customer, and provide a cost-effective way for developers to target online audiences.
