The Perfect Starter Home In Three Mile Cross
Owners comments...
Woodcock Court has been my home since 2017. I bought the house from the family who bought it from new. Initially my brother and I shared the house but more recently i've enjoyed living here on my own after her bought his own home nearby.
This is a great house for a family, a couple or 2 singles sharing. The 2 bedrooms are both equally spacious, light and airy with both big enough for a double bed. The living accommodation downstairs benefits from a light and comfortable living area and kitchen/diner.
This is larger than the average 2 bedroom home with 2 designated parking spaces. The garden is big enough to host a gathering and barbecue but small enough to be easily maintained.
Woodcock Court is a friendly close and i've really enjoyed living here. It's close to Reading and within easy access to the M4.
Dan & Neil Estate Agents' comments...
These are great little starter homes and this one ticks some much desired boxes that aren't always guaranteed. Firstly, the location is lovely, tucked away in a little cul-de-sac with plenty of parking including two allocated to the house. Secondly, the kitchen is at the back, recently refitted and opens onto a nice secluded garden that's a great size for a two bed house. You've also got a small hallway before entering the living room, there's storage under the stairs and a downstairs loo. Upstairs you've got two double bedrooms, both with fitted storage and an en-suite shower in the main bedroom at the back of the house. The setting feels very pretty with other well-maintained houses surrounding, giving a very house-proud feeling to the road.
Area Comments...
Three Mile Cross is great location, offering the best of both worlds here, you have some fantastic countryside walks so close by and you can easily forget you are just a few minutes from Reading town centre itself. You have various local amenities within the village and some popular schools, making it a great area for families. There are bus links including Mereoak Park and Ride taking you directly into Reading and you are so well connected with the A33 and junction 11 of the M4 on your doorstep and lets not forget how close you are to Green Park Business district & train link, making this an excellent commuter spot for London too.
