Hi, thanks for clicking on our lovely house! We're the owners, not estate agents, which means that we can respond super quickly to viewing requests and give you a personal tour at your convenience and tell you all about the house and the area. Also you can come and view without any hard sell pressure and we definitely won't be bothering you with follow up calls if you only want to have one look around. And best of all we're not loading agent's fees into the price!

Our house has five bedrooms; two double bedrooms with en-suite facilites, one single bedroom, one bedroom that we are using as an office/study and a loft conversion. In terms of bathrooms/toilets, in addition to the two en-suite rooms we have a master bathroom, a downstairs cloakroom and a en-suite toilet in the loft conversion. On the ground floor we have a large c7m long kitchen/breakfast room and a reception room to the rear. There is also a second reception room at the rear of the first floor. We have a decent sized private garden to the rear of the house which we've tried to make as low maintenance as possible, but has a nice planter at the back to satisfy any gardening needs and also attracts lots of birds in the winter which we love spotting.

The house is set in a private, gated development with lots of space for children to play out safely including a large communal garden that is very well maintained. Our neighbours are really friendly and it's a nice little community of people that look out for eachother. All the properties have dedicated, private parking spaces and ours is right outside the house. There is also plenty of space for guest parking and bike parking too.

One of the things we will miss most about our house is its location - we're within 15 minutes walking distance of both Blackheath Village and Lewisham town centre. If we don't fancy walking, both of these are accessible from bus stops just a couple of minute's walk from the estate, which also have great links to the local area like Greenwich, North Greenwich, New Cross and Catford. Blackheath is a fantastic little village with loads of great restuarants and shops and the heath itself which takes you all the way through to the beautiful Greenwich Park. Lewisham is a fast developing area in terms of shops and restuarants but also a highly underated transport hub with frequent trains into central London (ten minutes to London Bridge) and the DLR which is great for getting to Greenwich, Canary Wharf and Stratford.

If you have children at, or coming up to primary school age then we are currently in the catchment area of John Ball Primary School which we would highly recommend and which has just been rated outstanding by Ofsted in all areas.

As a final word, our house is deceptively large so we definitely recommend coming to have a look at it and the surrounding estate as the photos don't really do it justice. However, we've realised the house has become a bit too large for our family which is why we're now looking to move. We're intending to rent in a new area before we buy somewhere though so we'll be a chain free seller.
