It is a 10 min walk to Walton on the Naze & it's wonderful pier and Frinton High St is approx. A 20 min walk where you will find plenty of interesting shops & eateries.
It is hard to imagine that this superb hut could be located in a better position even if you owned a magic wand. It epitomises everything there is about a day at the seaside. With summers getting warmer and winters getting milder, each year will see the number of days you will want to use this beach hut increase, & let's be honest, even on a chillier day you can shut the front door, put the heater on and sit inside your warm snug hut and lose yourself staring out into the North Sea. It's a 'win-win' situation as far as we can see!
The property itself is in superb condition.
All the supports under the hut were replace just 3 years ago and it has recently had a new roof, stairs, & platform. The main inside space has a double gas ring & hob for making hot food or boiling a kettle for a cuppa etc with work surfaces & there is bench seating either side with plenty of room for the entire family. The is a large amount of storage under the bench seating.
The outer area has enough room to sit and we can see that especially on warmer days this would be most useful. There is also space for storing deckchairs, bodyboards & surfboards as well.
A freshwater tap is just 5 huts along so no need to take heavy water containers with you.
For dog owners, there are parts of the beaches that are dog friendly.
Unlike caravans etc. These huts increase in value and in recent years as holidaying in the UK as become increasingly popular, the price of the British seaside day hut has become increasingly popular & therefore that has reflected in the price.
The current owner tella us that there is a Frinton Beach hut member club which costs just £10 a year to be a member & amonst other benefits someone patrols the huts everyweek to make sure all is ok & will call the owner if something is wrong. This is a superb service that we would highly recommend the new owners joined.
There is an annual license fee to pay of £764 to Tendeing council, although we are told that if you are a resident of Tendring, there is a 50% discount on that fee!
There is also an ownership transfer fee of £500 that would have to be paid by the new owners.
