Brickworks Says

Bright, chic and versatile, there’s a lot packed into this split-level flat. The staggered floors enhance the sense of space, and the flexibility of the layout is demonstrated by the current owners, who use one of the bedrooms as a snug. Muted tones provide a gentle backdrop, and the calm decor throughout gives the flat that fresh-canvas feel. Panelling in the living space adds a touch of refinement.

The main two bedrooms are comfortable doubles and, notably, equally sized. Storage has been niftily incorporated into every room so that you can keep things spic and span. But the real jaw-dropper is the roof terrace––a secluded spot to bask and enjoy the city skyline. Natural light is a constant companion throughout the day, pouring into the living space for your morning coffee and ending on the showstopper terrace in the evening, in time for sunset over one of London’s most recognisable landmarks: Battersea Power Station.

Wandsworth Road is wonderfully positioned to enjoy the capital’s delights. Locally, your coffee, brunch and deli needs are catered for with several nearby options ––District is probably our pick–– and the Canton Arms is a lovely, lively local. But there’s so much more on offer. The Vauxhall Garden Museum, New Covent Garden flower market, and the newly developed Battersea Power Station will keep you busy at weekends. Plus, with the Thames just a 15-minute walk away, you can enjoy river views whilst stretching your legs.

The Owners Say

This flat has been an incredible home for us over the past nine years, transitioning from a shared space with friends in three bedrooms to a spacious home for two as a married couple. The unique design gives it the feel of a house rather than a flat. The building houses only one other flat, and we’ve always become friends with the tenants.

One of the standout features of this home is its exceptional natural light that floods different areas throughout the day. The terrace, a sun-trap with sun nearly all day, is perfect for hosting or sunbathing, and the annual Battersea Fireworks display is a highlight. Being end of terrace, it feels very private.

The local community offers everything you need within minutes, and the local area is vibrant, with fantastic places to frequent in walking distance. The Georgian property-lined streets south of the flat are perfect for wandering as well as nearby parks. Being able to reach Central London within 20 minutes never loses its novelty.
