A rural detached house, registered as a smallholding, with large garden and outbuildings.

Nut Bloom Cottage is a double fronted period house that has a wonderful mix of old and new with several eco features, for example, solar panels generating electricity combined with two Tesla batteries. The house has plenty of character, enhanced by the creative modern elements that give excellent volume spaces too and outside has a veranda and a pergola.

With the more modern side, it gives a newly created staircase from a rear hallway which connects the kitchen / breakfast room with the rear reception room overlooking the terrace and garden beyond.

The front door from the lane brings you into a sizable front reception room with lovely wide planked wood flooring, a deep alcove to the side of the wood burning stove and two windows with views over the pretty front side cottage garden. Next door to the rear is the kitchen. This extension gives very good ceiling heights and has an Aga forming part of the good array of floor units whilst space is given to large freestanding cupboards. The Belfast sink has views over the small rear garden area to the back of the house. This section of the house, being single storey, has a 'living' roof of wildflowers in the summer. The inner hallway, as mentioned, has the stairs and the second reception space or bedroom 3 and currently used as a workshop, whilst adjacent is the downstairs wc and on to the back door.

Upstairs are two bedrooms from the landing with the principal bedroom, with dual aspect, and lovely proportions and a wonderful balcony from the French doors with the views down the garden and beyond over the Blackmore Vale. The second bedroom was originally two bedrooms in the older part of the house with feature beams and lovely wooden floors.
