Brickworks Says

We are huge advocates of ex-local authority properties. With London property always in demand, they make a lot of sense, allowing many people to live in areas they would otherwise be priced out of. Plus, unlike period conversions, the buildings are designed to be separate dwellings, with concrete floors absorbing even the worst of noisy neighbours.

Fairdene Court sits next to Camden Road, which runs from Holloway down towards Camden Lock. Sitting in such a prime spot, you might worry about it being busy, and while the immediate surroundings are alive with life, the internal spaces are calm and peaceful. The trees outside wrap around like a blanket, and the positioning of the flat, tucked back away from Camden Road, means you're not troubled by the hum of the street. All the while, you are perfectly positioned for all the fantastic things happening in this corner of North London, with Camden, Highbury and Hampstead Heath all within easy reach.

Being betwixt and between several great neighbourhoods means you have a veritable treasure trove of places to explore and enjoy. The pull of Camden Market, Upper Street and Coal Drops Yard is strong, but it would be a shame to overlook the fantastic local offerings, including Bumblebee Foods, Bread by Bike and The Lord Stanley. You also have a choice of transport options, with Tubes from Caledonian Road and Holloway, plus various buses running along Camden Road and nearby Holloway Road. It's a location with everything at your fingertips.

The Owners Say

We have spent a very happy six years in this flat and will miss so much about it when we move. The neighbourhood has so much to offer, with Camden and King's Cross right on the doorstep. We have 2 happy Spaniels who have enjoyed the slightly longer strolls to Hampstead Heath and Regent's Park. We *love* our local pubs - The Lord Stanley and The Rose & Crown, the cafes - Bread by Bike and Caravan, and the bars - Half Cut and Campfire by Two Tribes.

The previous owners told us that they called this home their 'treehouse' because of the beautiful trees you can see outside every window. We have loved the tranquillity this brings to the space. It can make you forget that you're in central London. We will be very sad to leave this flat and our little corner of Islington, but we hope the next owners will be just as happy here as we have been.
