The local Prep schools Great Walstead, Cumnor House, Ardingly Prep and Brambletye are superb, as are Ardingly College, Worth Abbey, Hurstpierpoint College, Brighton College and Burgess Hill Girls. A number of private schools offer bus services for students which stop in the village.
