PlusLets is an independent, family run Lettings Agent based in Colchester, north Essex specialising in residential properties in strategic locations around the town. We will only market properties that are maintained to a high standard, attracting high calibre tenants and achieving good rents. We are portfolio Landlords ourselves and have been letting property for nearly twenty years. We believe in being professional, fair and honest to all parties involved in the letting process. Our benchmark is always “would I be happy with that?”, as a Landlord or as a Tenant. Our fee structure is lower than many as we do not have the overheads of a town centre office. Director Paul Sumner has also been running a property maintenance business since 2003, and brings extensive hands-on experience to the company. We carry out inspections and maintenance between tenancies, ensuring that new Tenants are welcomed to a clean home where everything works. If problems occur mid-tenancy we react promptly. PlusLets only use trusted tradesmen that we employ to work on our own properties. This level of service protects the Landlord’s investment and keeps the Tenants happy. Most of our tenants renew their contracts beyond twelve months, and several have been with us for over ten years! PlusLets… a positive move.
